It’s not nice to piss off Mother Nature…

Bryton Haruk sets out on a suicide mission to stop the bloodthirsty Skullmen from terrorizing the war-weary Land of Eldwyn. Consumed by guilt over the death of his wife, Bryton seeks revenge and reunion in the afterlife with his lost love. His purpose is determined, his bravery unmatched, until the queen casts a spell to save Bryton from himself.

Salome is that spell. A bird-shifter, she can harness the earth’s breeze and take the form of a beautiful, innocent woman. Her challenge is to harness Bryton’s pain and guide him to peace. She entrances and irritates him, tempting Bryton from his mission. Even as he gives in to the passion between them, Bryton insists on mounting a solo attack on the brigands’ compound, and Salome fears her love won’t be enough to save him…

ROMANCE JUNKIES give SALOME AT SUNRISE 5 Blue Ribbons!

Reviewer: Dottie

SALOME AT SUNRISE is a beautiful paranormal romance, which I absolutely loved reading.  This is the first story I have read by Inez Kelley, but I definitely look forward to reading more of her works.  Although Bryton struggles against his attraction to Salome, just the feel of her hands is enough to spread heat through his body.  The passion between them was inevitable.  Salome is an innocent and she takes things literally, which adds humor to this story. Author Inez Kelley brings her story to life right before your eyes, enabling the reader to see the beauty and passion of her tale.  Brimming with humor, death, passion, an originally creative plot, complex characters and magic, this story is a winner.  I highly recommend SALOME AT SUNRISE to anyone looking for a wonderful fantasy.  It was not what I expected, but it is a story that I plan to keep and read again and again.

Inez Kelley is an artist with words. The book unfolds like poetry with its gorgeously written lines. It is a colorful tapestry with words that invoke pure beauty…it’s all tied in to the superb plot. As with Myla by Moonlight, Salome by Sunrise is a top-notch story, touching and so beautifully written that I’d highly recommend it.

Romantic Times Book Review gives Salome at Sunrise 4 stars!

In the land of Eldwyn, magic and revenge twine to together to create a wonderful adventure that pulls the reader’s heartstrings. Inez Kelley’s characters are strong and stubborn and paired with an entertaining story to transport the readers to another world.

Realms on Our Bookshelves give SALOME AT SUNRISE 3.5 Stars

Inez Kelley has a lush voice creating beautiful descriptions of the backdrop allowing me to envision this world in the mind’s eye next to letting me absorb the emotions zinging between the H/h. Both elements easily let me immerse me again in the story told. I was encompassed by the all-or-nothing ending of the story and the love that crested in those scenes. SALOME AT SUNRISE is romance with a capital R, containing light fantasy elements and two characters who are a match for each other in heart and spirit.

I really wanted to read this book after enjoying the first one, Myla by Moonlight. I felt that this was everything Myla was and more. The worldbuilding is richer and deeper. The characters are more emotionally complex, from the tortured hero Bryton to the innocent, yet not so innocent Salome to even the villain. It’s as if Inez Kelley is really getting comfortable in her writing skin. Really hope there’s a third book in the series!
