It’s out!! It’s out!! YAY!
I wrote this tale originally a hundred years ago or there abouts. It sat in a box, in a folder because I had written it in pencil on notebook paper. Uh-huh, told you it was a long time ago! I pulled it out and thought, hmmm, this needs updated. That lasted for the first paragraph. THen everything grew and expounded, took on a new life. The story changed. The characters didn’t change, although some morphed into one solidified stance(Steve) and a few subplots got smoothed. But Frannie and Jinx, their struggle and love, never changed. Their names did, but not them at their core. They remained.
I was offered a contract for this book in September. I signed the contract on this book in October. It is June. Count it out. Nine months. Like having a baby.
And so, here she is, brand-spanking new and squalling for attention, my baby…JINXED!!
